Formal Ceremony Marks Presentation of ITF Dan Certificates to Afghan Taekwon-Do Athletes

Today, on 12 February 2026, the official ceremony for the explanation of Dan Belt certificates, issued by the International Original Taekwon-Do ITF Federation for ITF Taekwon-Do athletes of Afghanistan, was formally held and thoroughly explained.

The official ceremony for the explanation and distribution of certificates to athletes of Kabul Province was held on Thursday, 23 Dalwa 1404, conducted in the presence of H.E. Hafez Ahmad Jan Zadran, Deputy Director General of Physical Education and Sports and the National Olympic Committee of the country.

It is also hereby announced that the certificates of athletes from other provinces will be explained and distributed in their respective provinces, in accordance with the federation’s procedures, by technical officials and representatives of the Afghanistan National ITF Taekwon-Do Federation.

The leadership of the Afghanistan National ITF Taekwon-Do Federation expresses its sincere appreciation and gratitude to H.E. Mawlawi Ahmadullah Wasiq, Director General of Physical Education and Sports and the National Olympic Committee of the country, for his comprehensive support, continuous attention, and for providing opportunities for the growth and development of athletes.

Furthermore, profound thanks and appreciation are extended to H.E. Hafez Ahmad Jan Zadran, Deputy Director General of Physical Education and Sports and the National Olympic Committee of the country, for his continued cooperation, active participation in programs, and constant encouragement of athletes.
