ITF Taekwon-Do World Championships XXIII – Second Day in Jesolo, Italy
The Special Needs World Taekwon-Do Championships, held in conjunction with the XXIII ITF Taekwon-Do World Championships, officially began on October 5th, 2025, with an inspiring Opening Ceremony attended by the ITF President and participants from around the world. The event represents another important milestone in promoting inclusivity and global unity through the art of Taekwon-Do.
The championships are organized under the leadership of Mr. Ben Evans of New Zealand, whose dedication and tireless efforts have been essential in turning this vision into reality.
At the same time, Grand Master Hwang Ho Yong continued the second and third sessions of the International Technical Seminar, joined by other high-ranking masters to further advance participants’ technical knowledge and Taekwon-Do proficiency.
In the evening, the ITF Executive Board convened for its annual meeting, discussing the agenda for the upcoming ITF Congress and determining the next strategic steps for the continued development of ITF Taekwon-Do worldwide.
