International Taekwon‑Do Federation

1st ITF Taekwon‑Do  “Mayor Cup” Pro. National Championship-2024 has successfully concluded. 

1st ITF Taekwon‑Do  “Mayor Cup” Pro. National Championship-2024 has successfully at Burtibang, Baglung  on April 19-20, 2024. The Championship has been inaugurated by Honorable Devendra Paudel, representative of House as Chief guest and the event organized by the Bglung Taekwon‑Do Association, Nepal. 

The Championship had completed 55-62 Kg Male and 50-57 Kg female weight categories Male and female. In the competition, competitors was participated from Seven Provicne Bagmati, Koshi, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, Madhesh and Sudur Pachchim, Nepal Army, Nepal APF and Nepal Police. 

Mr Subas Tamang of Madhesh Provicne and Miss Nikita Dhimal of Nepal Army became the champions of the first and awarded with NPR. 50,000 cash prize, Medal and Trophy. Mr.  Shri Prasad Budha of Nepal Police and Miss Nikita Dhimal Miss Sajina Tamang from Koshi Provicne becam second and awarded with NPR. 30,000 cash prize,Medal and Trophy. Mr. Anil Tamang and Miss Kushum Rajbagsi is awarded by the with NPR. 200,000 cash prize, Medal and Trophy. 

In the Closing Ceremony of the Championship, the medal and certificate distributed by the Honorable Jit Sherchan, Member of Gandkai Provicne Assembly Mr. Kalyan Kayat, Acting Meyor of Dhorpatan Municipality, Mr. Prabin Khmar Karki, President of Nepal International Taekwon‑Do Federation. Mr. Rajmandir Shrestha, Vice President of Nepal ITF, Mr. Gham Bahadur Thapa Secretary General of Nepal ITF, Mrs. Anjana Siwakoti, Secretary of Nepal ITF, Nepal ITF Board Members, Technical Committee, Team Coach, referee, officials and distinguished guests. 

The championship was organized under the Chairmanship of Mr. Partik Gharti Magar, President of Baglung District Taekwon‑Do Association Association.
