Ceremony of Recognition and ITF Dan International Certificate Distribution

On Saturday, 1st February 2025, a momentous and historic ceremony took place, honoring the members of the All Afghanistan National Taekwon‑Do Association (AANTA) in the presence of Afghanistan Sports  key members Head of Afghanistan NOC, including the Head of Physical Education and Sports, Head of Olympic Affairs, and Head of Publications. The event was graced by Mr. Ali Sina Habibi AANTA President (Representative of ITF Taekwon‑Do in Afghanistan), and Mr. Sayed Rohullah Hussaini Vice President and President of International Martial Arts Games Committee (IMGC) in Afghanistan and AANTA members. This occasion marked a significant milestone in the continued growth and recognition of Original ITF Taekwon‑Do in Afghanistan.

 


The ceremony was conducted under the auspices of the Afghanistan National Olympic Committee (NOC), Physical Education, and Sports, and was held at the prestigious conference hall of the National Olympic Committee. It was a proud moment for all participants, as the event was widely covered by national media channels, further elevating the importance of Taekwon‑Do in the country’s sports landscape.

 


AANTA was formally honored and recognized by the leadership of Afghanistan’s sports administration for its tireless dedication, hard work, and remarkable achievements in the development of Taekwon‑Do. This recognition is a testament to the perseverance and commitment of AANTA’s members and leadership.

 


The event was attended by key figures and prominent members from the Afghanistan NOC, including the Head of Physical Education and Sports, Head of Olympic Affairs, and Head of Publications, as well as the AANTA President, IMGC President, AANTA Blackbelts, and practitioners. This ceremony stands as one of the most significant events in AANTA’s 2025 Quarter 1 activities and exemplifies the continued success and expansion of Original ITF Taekwon‑Do in Afghanistan.
