International Taekwon‑Do Federation
On 25 Sept 2021, the ITF Executive Broad Meeting was held online.
This meeting was attended by 19 of the 20 EB members, as well as several ITF members who were invited.
All ITF EB members exchanged greetings and freely discussed any issues relating to the ITF Taekwon‑Do activities currently underway in the midst of the dreadful and persistent Covid-19 pandemic.
Dr. Tatiana Naoumidi, MD, PhD, the newly appointed Chairperson of the ITF Medical Committee, and Master Derrick Chan, the newly appointed Chairperson of the ITF Anti-Doping Committee, were introduced. Following that, the ITF President emphasized that all ITF NGBs and organizers of the ITF Taekwon‑Do World Championships must abide by the ITF Medical and Anti-Doping Committee regulations.
Apart from that, Mr. Zhang Guangjun, President of the China International Taekwon‑Do Federation, provided an update on the 22nd ITF Taekwon‑Do World Championships, which will be held in Wuxi, Jiangsu, China in 2023. He assured everyone that everything was proceeding as planned.
Mr. Viachaslav Berzhets, President of the Belarusian ITF Taekwon‑Do League, also provided an update on the preparations for the ITF 55th Anniversary ITF Taekwon‑Do Junior & Veteran World Championships, which will be held in Minsk, Belarus from 11 to 18 Dec 2021.
Mr. Keo Remy, ITF EB member and President of the Cambodian Taekwon‑Do Association (I.T.F. ), presented a brief report on the preparations for the ITF Taekwon‑Do tournament in Cambodia for the SEA Games 2023.
Mr. Anton Archipov, ITF's Data Protection Officer, presented the annual report on the ITF Database's implementation, which includes a tournament management system and scoring applications.
The ITF President kindly reminded all ITF members to increase their participation in the ITF Online Platform and integrated ITF Database. Additionally, all tournaments, seminars, courses, and events promoted by ITF will be registered, managed, and broadcast via the ITF Online platform in the near future. All ITF Certificates and ITF Recognition Plaques will be made exclusively via this ITF Database.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the ITF President emphasized that all ITF members will overcome the hardships brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic by displaying the Taekwon‑Do spirit through non-stop Taekwon‑Do activities.
