International Taekwon‑Do Federation

3-6 Oct. 2024 «Kyrgyz ITF Taekwon‑Do Federation» (President Mr. Toktoev Rinat) successfully held the first tournament in the history of Kyrgyz ITF Taekwon‑Do via official ITF Online platform «ISCORE». About 500 athletes from Central Asia participated in this annual international tournament «RAMIS Cup». GM Prof. Yuri B. Kalashnikov, ITF Vice-president personally visited the event to open the tournament and personally be acquainted with the activities of the Federation.

The official opening ceremony of the International tournament was attended by representatives of the State Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic, representatives of the Ministry of Sports of Kyrgyzstan, the Mayor's Office of Bishkek and other representatives of the supervising state bodies. The main Sports TV channel of Kyrgyzstan covered the international sport event.

The Deputy of the State Parliament of Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Mamataliev M.A., presented a Certificate of Honor on behalf of the State Parliament of Kyrgyzstan as a recognition of merits of the Federation in the development of sports in the country.

The Director of the Sports Department at the Ministry of Sports of Kyrgyz Republic awarded Asian Champions (India, Bengaluru 2024) and Head Coach of the National Team with gifts and Diplomas on behalf of the Ministry.

During a meeting with Officials and Special guests, representatives of State Parliament and Ministry of Sports of Kyrgyz Republic noted the high achievements of the Federation in the international arena, high level of tournament’s organization and we discussed further cooperation with the Federation and the development of ITF Taekwon‑Do in the country.

The International tournament marked the beginning of a new stage in the development of ITF Taekwon‑Do in Kyrgyzstan towards the transition to international standards of ITF and defines the vector of development of Kyrgyz Taekwon‑Do ITF Federation.
