On this occasion, marking the 59th commemoration and formation of the International Taekwon‑Do Federation (I.T.F.), we pay tribute to our Legendary Founder Gen. Choi Hong Hi. The 22nd March 1966 ushered in a new era in Taekwon‑Do with the establishment of the I.T.F. which developed so rapidly that today we have a global community with many millions of practitioners across five continents. May his legacy continue to serve the many millions of people globally in their effort to build a more peaceful world through his moral precepts and foundation left behind.
