International Taekwon‑Do Federation
Official ITF, International Technical Seminar (ITS) was held in Helsinki, 2nd -3rd of March 2024. This was the 2nd seminar whose conductor was Master Jean Feller, 8th dan from ITF Finland.
50 people participated in the seminar either physically or online. There were physically Black Belts from Greece, Sweden, Norway and Finland in Helsinki. There were also participants from other countries via online, up to 7th Dan Masters belt values, such as the USA, Moldova, Cyprus, Spain, Ireland, Malaysia, Morocco, Argentina and Nepal.
The seminar was a continuation of last year's seminar, and thus new exercises were introduced that aim to give the student a functionally strong body with good muscle balance and mobility. Special attention was also paid to the strength of the Core area and how to utilize the power and speed of the middle body in Taekwon‑Do techniques.
The latest updates of the ITF´s Technical- and Education Committee were also reviewed, e.g. in connection with motion sequences.
Positive feedback was received from the seminar regardless of the belt values during the event.
