Sunsari District team has been Champion of Koshi Province ITF Taekwon‑Do Championship-2025
Kathmandu:
Sunsari district team has won the title of the Koshi Province ITF Taekwon‑Do Championship held in Biratnagar. The competition was organized by the Koshi Province ITF Taekwon‑Do Association in coordination with the Koshi Province Sports Development Board and was inaugurated by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Honorable Devraj Ghimire.
Sunsari District team secured first place by winning 9 gold, 2 silver, and 2 bronze medals. Morang finished as the runner-up with 6 gold, 3 silver, and 5 bronze medals, while Jhapa claimed third place with 4 gold, 5 silver, and 6 bronze medals.

· Women’s Category: Eliza Rai (Sunsari)
Participation:
The two-day province-level Championship, held on 1-2 Feb. 2025, featured 117 players from Morang, Sunsari, Jhapa, Ilam, Panchthar, Taplejung, Bhojpur, Udayapur, and the organizing team. A total of 135 athletes, coaches and team managers participated. The events included individual men's and women's patterns and individual men's and women's sparring across different age groups and belt categories.
