International Taekwon‑Do Federation

On December 13th, 2024, Master Hed Mohammad Shirzai, Hon-Life President of the All Afghanistan National Taekwondo Association ITF, met with His Excellency Dr. Hafizullah Wali Rahimi, the President of the Afghanistan National Olympic Committee (NOC), in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

During the productive meeting, Master Shirzai discussed the global progress of the original ITF Taekwon‑Do, as well as the expansion of ITF Taekwon‑Do in Afghanistan. He outlined strategies for the growth and development of Taekwon‑Do ITF in Afghanistan.

The meeting concluded with a meaningful gesture: Master Shirzai presented Dr. Hafizullah Wali Rahimi with a copy of his book History and Encyclopedia of ITF Taekwon‑Do in two volumes, which he authored. This book was gifted to the NOC President as a symbol of respect and as a valuable resource for the advancement of Taekwon‑Do ITF in Afghanistan.
