In a significant development for the Iran ITF Taekwon‑Do Federation, a recent presidential election has ushered in a new era of leadership. Mr. Hassan Ghamgosar emerged victorious in the election, securing the position of the new president. He will now serve as the sole representative of the International Taekwon‑Do Federation in Iran.
The founder of Iran ITF Taekwon‑Do Federation and the co-founder of Iran ITF Association , Master Hossein Farid Sabbagh, an exemplary leader who held top executive positions for an impressive 18 years, has been elected as the honorary life president. Master Sabbagh, in his congratulatory speech to the newly elected president, urged every member to uphold and enhance solidarity and integration. He emphasized the importance of supporting the new administration in their efforts to elevate the practice of ITF Taekwon‑Do under the throughout Iran. He sees this as a meaningful contribution to both the nation and its people.
Emphasizing the paramount importance of following in the footsteps of the father of Taekwon‑Do, the late General Choi Hong Hi. He underlined the significance of adhering to the principles of original Taekwon‑Do, a legacy passionately promoted by the International Taekwon‑Do Federation under the esteemed presidency of Grand master Professor Ri Yong Son.
