Kathmandu. 

The Nepal ITF Annual National General Meeting of the Nepal International Taekwon‑Do Federation as financial year BS 2080/81 was held in Kathmandu on 16 September, 2024. 

The Annual National General Meeting-2024 was held at Hotel Sampada Garden in Lajimpath, Kathmandu under the chairmanship of Prabin  Kumar Karki and it’s   inaugurated by Leader of Nepali Congress and Member of House of Representatives Honorable Dr. Sashank Koirala. On that occasion, Congress leader Koirala opined that the three levels of government should support the sports sector for the country to achieve success. There were presented Former President of Nepal ITF  and Board Member of National Sports Council Mr. Anjan Dhamala, Founder Member and Former Member and President of Nepal ITF Mr. Kumar Thapa, The Nepal ITF Vice President Umesh Rajthala, Rajmandir Shrestha, Prabhunarayan Siwakoti, Secretary General Gham Bahadur Thapa, Secretary Anjana Siwakoti, Treasure Bikram Batha Magar, General Secretary of Nepal National Martial Arts Games Committee Rupsing Moktan and representative of Nepali Congress Devendra Gharti Magar, representatives from Province, District Taekwon‑Do Association and Central Committee Members in the Annual General Meeting. 

In the closed session, the annual report of President Prabin Kumar Karki was passed. The annual General Meeting unanimously passed the financial report of Federation Treasurer Mr. Bikram Batha Magar. General Secretary Gham Bahadur Thapa presented the upcoming plan in the event. 

On this occasion, the federation has also presented various programs as including organizing an umpire course and holding time-appropriate National Championship in different parts of the country.

The President of the Federation, Mr. Karki mentioned that sports are the best way to make Nepal recognized in the world and said that the state should increase investment in the sports sector. He is of the opinion that the country should expand international relations through sports, saying that no other field can bring the world together.
